How to use CVG Mushroom Grow Bag?
 
Step 1. Clean the Mushroom Grow Bag injection port.
Put on the included nitrile gloves. Thoroughly wipe the grey injection port with the included alcohol prep pads.
 
Step 2. Inoculate your Mushroom Grow Bag.
Twist the sterile needle onto your syringe, then inject the needle through the grey silicone injection port and squirt roughly 1-2mL of fluid into multiple parts of the bag.
 
Step 3. Recap and Wait.
Twist the needle off and twist on a sterile syringe cap. Leave the bag until the white mycelium covers all of the rye grain component at the bottom. This can take up to 2-3 weeks.
 
Step 4. Ready to Spawn!
Once the rye grain is colonised by mycelium, pour the mix into a Boom-Box or Inflatable Monotub. Close the lid and wait for the mycelium to completely cover the top surface (this can take up to a week).
 
Step 5. Start fruiting conditions.
Once the top has been colonised, fan the tub 3-5 times daily to circulate airflow. Spray frequently with water to simulate rainfall & maintain humidity. Optimal growing conditions are 90-100% humidity and 22- 28C. Mushroom fruiting can take between 1-4 weeks.
 
Step 6. Time to harvest!
After a few days of misting and fanning your tub, you will start seeing small mushroom "pins" and eventually fully grown mushrooms! From here, simply harvest your mushrooms by gently twisting from the base and enjoy!

TIP: Flush To Get More Fruits!
To achieve multiple fruiting harvests, you can submerge your colonised brick underwater for 8-12 hours to rehydrate and restart the fruiting process. You can perform a flush 1-4 times.  

 
Additional Product Details 
Each All-In-One grow bag has been supplemented with gypsum powder and coffee grounds to boost your mycelium growth speed and mushroom harvest yield by adding much needed nitrogen.
Our CVG ‘All-In-One’ grow bags are sold in 0.2micron filter bags with injection ports for ease of use and to minimise the risk of unwanted contamination.
We only use organic rye grain in our bags due to its natural combination of high contamination resistance, fast colonisation time and nutritional properties compared to other grains
