To achieve optimal results, follow these guidelines when using Coco Coir:
 
Timing: Add Coco Coir only when your substrate is fully colonized (covered in mycelium) and pins (tiny mushroom primordia) are starting to form. This indicates that your substrate is ready for the next stage of development.
 
Layer Thickness: Simply apply a thin layer of Coco Coir, roughly 1-2cm in depth. This amount is sufficient to support and enhance the growth of your mushrooms during the fruiting phase.
