Choosing Between Liquid Culture and Spores

You can purchase our quality gourmet and medicinal mushroom liquid cultures, mushroom spore prints, and mushroom spore syringes

If you're unsure whether to choose liquid culture or spores, we recommend opting for liquid culture. Liquid cultures contain already developed mycelium, which colonizes grain much faster than spores. For more information, read our Liquid Culture Vs Spore Syringe article.

Testing Your Spores or Liquid Culture

We strongly recommend testing your spore or liquid culture syringe on an agar dish before inoculating one of our kits to ensure the syringe is sterile. You can purchase AGAR here.

Creating Your Own Spore Syringe
